Businesses which display the Taste of Staffordshire logo have been independently verified as the best food & drink companies in the county.
Whether you’re looking for great places to eat in Staffordshire, or somewhere to buy the best locally-grown or reared produce, the Taste of Staffordshire quality marque is your guarantee of the highest standards in food & drink and customer service.
Eateries, retailers and producers have to demonstrate their commitment to food hygiene standards – they must have at least four-star hygiene ratings.
They must also show at least 40% of their ingredients have come from a local supplier, cutting down on food miles and helping the Staffordshire economy.
Taste of Staffordshire accredited places to eat offer something to really get your teeth into, whether you’re craving international cuisine, traditional British grub, or a sumptuous afternoon tea.
Our very best food and drink retailers in the county, including farm shops and delis, also display the marque, which guarantees they have the best Staffordshire produce on their shelves.

Good Food Awards
While Taste of Staffordshire accredited businesses can prove they are among the best in the county, the crème de la crème are named at the annual Good Food Awards.
Every Taste business is automatically entered into the awards, which took place in October at the magnificent Lichfield Cathedral.
