The LoveClay Studio offers 1 to 1 sessions, open studio options and other courses. Options include:
Throw a Pot Session:
Choose up to 2 pots that will be fired and glazed (each person)
Learn how to throw your very first pot with experienced master potter Jon French.
Masterclass Throwing Session:
A more intense 2 hour masterclass session with Jon French, ideal for those that would like to further develop their throwing skills and knowledge with the aim of becoming more of an accomplished potter.
Jon French who is an experienced master potter will also help with any technical advice or knowledge.
Beginners Ceramic Courses
Our Beginners Ceramic Courses are aimed at those who have an interest in clay and would like to learn more about the techniques and skills used.
Ideal for hobbyist or those wishing to develop their knowledge further each course has been designed by an experienced pottery teacher to ensure that each student has a one to one experience.
Intermediate Ceramic Courses
Our Intermediate Ceramic Courses are aimed at those who have some experience of working with clay and would like to learn how to develop their techniques and skills.
Ideal for studio potters or those with an interest in ceramics who are looking to develop their knowledge further each course has been designed by an experienced pottery teacher to ensure that each student has a one to one experience.
Professional Masterclasses
Our Professional Masterclasses are aimed at studio potters or those with experience working with clay that would like to learn specific techniques and skills from those that are considered master potters within their field of expertise.
Children and Family Clay Courses
Our Children and Family focused clay courses have been developed for everyone to have fun together creating their own ceramic masterpieces, with the aim of helping children realise the enjoyment they can get from making with clay.
A range of courses and events will be held throughout the year and during school holiday periods.
