Redfern's Cottage celebrates the stories of Uttoxeter.

Located in a restored 17th century timber-framed building Redfern’s Cottage tells the stories of Uttoxeter. The museum was once home to noted historian Francis Redfern, from which it takes its name. Redfern's Cottage, museum of Uttoxeter life features interactive galleries exploring the history of the vibrant market town of Uttoxeter, a Cafe and Shop selling a range of local goods and gifts. In 2019 the museum reopened following a major refurbishment project. This included new galleries, cafe and revamped shop. The museum offering guided tours, group visits and education visits in addition to a regular events programme of walks and heritage talks.

Please note that there is partial accessibility to the ground floor including a disabled toilet. Access to the upstairs museum galleries are only accessible by stairs.
