From adventures to get the heart racing to great rainy day ideas, there are loads of events & activities to enjoy in Staffordshire this half-term!
Get back to nature
There's a packed week of woodland adventures at the National Memorial Arboretum this week, starting on Saturday 16th February.
Explore the arboretum and woods and find your way back to the family tree on The Stick Man Trail, inspired by the hit book by Julia Donaldson, discover insects, mammals and more at the Nature Detectives, and let off some steam in the sensory play areas.
For anyone with a love of our feathered friends, the Bird-Watching for Beginners sessions will introduce you to the birds which make this huge site their home during the year, as well as providing tips on identifying bird songs and advice on attracting them into your own garden.
And for the first time, the Arboretum will also be home to free indoor pop-up cinema, with showings of Peter Rabbit, and the amazing adventures of Stick Man, throughout the week.
Also for nature lovers: meet the macaques at Trentham Monkey Forest, which reopens after the winter shutdown, and look out for fairies and elves on a woodland walk at Weston Park.
Awesome adrenaline adventures
It's Superhero Week at Staffordshire's Number One trampoline park, Flip Out Stoke-on-Trent!
Starting on Saturday 16th February, you can meet your favourite superheroes, bounce with the Green Ninja, and enjoy competitions and giveaways for the whole of half-term.
Plus, on Tuesday 19th February, Superheroes Assemble from galaxies far and wide, with a Buzz Lightyear and a Ninja Turtle thrown in for good measure too! Take some super snaps in the photo booth, and watch their awesome tricks and flips on the trampolines.
Dress as your favourite superhero, and you could win cinema tickets for you and the family in the best-dressed competition.
There are four sessions on Superheroes Assemble day, and they're selling fast so book now to avoid disappointment!
Also for adrenaline junkies: there's fun on the inflatables in the pool - and snow play on the slopes - at SnowDome, and a great half-term special offer at Waterworld.
Crafty capers
For some slower-paced adventures, head for World of Wedgwood, where there's plenty of messy fun on offer this week.
Create a unique souvenir in the decorating studio, where you'll find pottery painting sessions, or get your hands (and everything else) really dirty by learning how to throw a pot at the potter's wheel!
Why not make a special gift for Mum, with Mother's Day not far away?
There's also a children's museum trail to explore in the free-to-enter Wedgwood Museum, with a prize on offer to everyone who completes the activity sheet, plus free factory tours for the under 12s from Monday to Friday, and Get Wild in Hem Heath Woods.
Also for arts & crafts activities: train your dragon at the Museum of Cannock Chase, and family craft sessions at Samuel Johnson Birthplace Museum.

Step back in time
Jump into a Staffordshire time machine at Churnet Valley Railway for the Winter Steam Gala on Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th February.
The railway's traditional opening to the season is back, with a host of classic locomotives on show, including the star, the Caledonian Tank Engine No 419, making its first visit south of the border from Scotland in almost 40 years.
Embark on a journey through the picturesque Churnet Valley, also known as Staffordshire's Little Switzerland, learn about the history of the North Staffordshire Railway Company, and sample delicious fayre in nostalgic surroundings in the tea room at Froghall Station.
A great day out for families and railway enthusiasts alike!
Also for history and heritage: the Staffordshire Regiment Museum is free to enter all week, while the Royal Air Force Museum at Cosford is opening the cockpits of historic planes, the Hunter and the Phantom.
