Curated Makers will be taking over the World of Wedgwood’s gift shop with their Made Local Pop-Up to champion over 30 makers, creators and artists, local to Stoke-on-Trent.
In celebration of Wedgwood’s rich heritage of craftsmanship and creativity, Curated Makers will fill their shelves with a wide range of handmade items inspired by the beautiful county of Staffordshire, that compliments the Wedgwood collection.
This is an exciting opportunity for Curated Makers, who have previously hosted events in Manchester, Sheffield, Liverpool and Chester within John Lewis and Paperchase stores; to add a new city to their portfolio, whilst collaborating with an award winning, UNESCO protected museum.
Determined to give local independent makers and artists the opportunity to showcase their goods, from Wednesday 4th of August, the pop-up will exhibit a selection of locally made, unique handcrafted products from over 30 local makers, for 8 weeks only.
It is the perfect way to bring together modern and traditional craftsmen and women, and enhance the Wedgwood experience!
With a vast collection of artistically crafted products, the line up will consist of beautiful soy wax candles made from upcycled glass bottles by The Wandering Bee.

Artwork inspired by Stoke from Flying Teaspoons and Shelley Jayne Illustration will also be available to purchase, alongside uniquely made 3D printed vases by Keeley Traae Design.
Not forgetting a complementary range of ceramics featuring the pastel creations of Amber Lion Ceramics, made in her garage studio in Stoke-on-Trent.
Michael, a local maker and founder of Sketchbook Design, shares that, “Even in their relatively short history Curated Makers have created a brand that is known for quality.
“When I'm involved in their events I know that my work will be featured alongside quality products from other talented creatives and makers."

Curated Makers will be situated within the Gift Shop at World of Wedgwood. You can enter via the main World of Wedgwood entrance.
